QA and Support Analyst

The Role

• Provide manual quality assurance support to the product development team, including functional, regression, usability and performance testing.
• Write, execute and maintain test plans, cases and scripts.
• Ensure software features are built accurately to requirements, and conform to acceptable standards of usability, consistency and performance.
• Proactively identify, document and track software defects.
• Work with the product development team and Head of Product Development to define and implement a robust quality assurance strategy.
• Monitor Jira service desk for incoming tickets, providing first line support via email and escalating to product development team as appropriate.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to a team culture of continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, best practices and company policies.

Essential Skills and Experience:

• 2+ years of experience in a QA role or similar.
• Familiarity with issue tracking software e.g. Notion/Jira
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• A strong attention to detail, and a clear and structured approach to work and documentation.
• Familiar with full software development lifecycle ideally in an Agile environment.

Desired Skills and Experience

• ISTQB certification or equivalent.
• Experience of performance testing.
• Awareness of test automation frameworks.
