Earlier this week, our co-founders swapped HyperFinity’s Leeds office for Snowflake Summit in Las Vegas.
This year’s conference focused on data collaboration. We heard from tech, data and business thought leaders and learnt about innovations coming to Snowflake’s Data Cloud.
But we weren’t just there to hear from data peers. We were also there to pitch our decision intelligence software for retailers, HyperFinity, in the final round of Snowflake’s Startup Challenge 2022.
The pitch challenge took place before a live audience and a panel of esteemed judges; Denise Persson (CMO, Snowflake), Carl Eschenbach (Partner, Sequoia Capital), Benoit Dageville (Co-Founder, Snowflake) and Jayshree Ullal (CEO, Arista Networks).
Our CTO Damon Bryan and CCO Peter Denby took to the stage to pitch HyperFinity, our decision intelligence software for retailers and brands. They explained how our platform powers intelligent, data-led decisions across interlinked retail areas. They also demonstrated our software’s highly visual, no code interface. Our serverless architecture – that’s built on Snowflake – combines powerful data science and BI to uncover crucial commercial insights.
Pitches were rated on business value proposition, market potential and innovative use of Snowflake.
We were praised for democratising access to data science and AI, how we’ve adopted Snowpark and our client traction.
In the end Houseware were named winners, with HyperFinity and Modelbit runners up.
Reaching the final is a huge endorsement of HyperFinity. We’re really proud of our team and all we’ve achieved in just a couple of years (with much more to come!). Now where’s that beer?
